Atlanta's Sports Scene

Wow, where do I begin. Outside of the Atlanta Braves, the sports scene here can best be described as horrific. No fan support, bad managment, and bad teams are a bad mix for any city. Unfortunately Atlanta has been plagued by them all. The Atlanta Hawks have never had fan support, even during the glory days of Dominique Wilkins. The Atlanta Falcons have the longest current streak of no back to back winning seasons. It's a little early to judge the Thrashers, but being swept out of the first round in the playoffs doesn't help matters.

This blog will be my way to vent. Sports Radio, in theory, is supposed to provide me that opportunity, but who wants to be hung up on by Steak Shapiro or Jon Kincaid when I disagree with them. Hopefully this blog will attract others who are fed up with the sports scene in Atlanta, and who want to read an unbiased vent.
